Profile Settings

Manage your personal identity, account security, and regional preferences to ensure your NoRecruit experience is tailored to your needs.

Updated this week

πŸ‘€ General Information

Keep your profile details current to ensure smooth communication with your team.

  • Name & Email: Your display name is visible to all team members. If you update your email, a verification link will be sent to the new address to finalize the change.

  • Profile Picture: Square images are recommended. This photo helps your teammates identify you in shared workspaces.

  • Timezone: Crucial for automation. Your campaign activities are scheduled based on this setting. Ensure it matches your actual location to avoid sending messages at inappropriate hours.

  • Language: Adjust the platform interface to your preferred language.

πŸ” Security & Access

Protect your account with robust authentication methods found under the Security tab.

Password Management

  • Standard Update: Change your password regularly. You will need your current password to authorize a change.

  • OAuth Users: If you signed up via Google, you can add a traditional email/password login at any time for more flexibility.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

We strongly recommend enabling MFA to add a second layer of protection.

  1. Click "Setup a new Factor."

  2. Scan the QR code with an app like Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.

  3. Enter the 6-digit code and save.

Linked Accounts

Manage your connections to Google or other providers. You can link or unlink these accounts as long as you have at least one valid sign-in method remaining.

⚠️ Danger Zone

At the bottom of the Security page, you will find the option to Delete your Account.

  • Permanence: This action is irreversible. It will erase your profile, any teams you own, and all associated campaign data.

  • Subscriptions: All active paid plans will be immediately cancelled.

πŸ’‘ Best Practices

  • Verify Your Timezone: If you move or travel, update your timezone immediately. Automation follows this setting, not your physical location.

  • Strong Passwords: Use a unique password that isn't shared with your LinkedIn account or other services.

  • Backup MFA: When setting up MFA, ensure you have your authenticator app backed up so you don't lose access to your account if you lose your phone.
