Understanding workspaces: your account and team workspaces

Learn the difference between your personal account and team workspaces, how to switch between teams, and how teams are created.

NoRecruit is built around team workspaces. Your personal account is who you are (your login, profile, and LinkedIn connection); a team workspace is where the actual work happens — campaigns, candidates, inbox, and settings shared with your colleagues.

Where to find it

Your current team is shown in the left sidebar. Click your profile card at the bottom of the sidebar to open the account menu and switch between teams.

Personal account vs. team workspace

  • Personal account — created automatically when you sign up. It holds your name, profile picture, email, password, timezone, and language. Your LinkedIn connection is also tied to you personally, so it travels with you across teams.

  • Team workspace — a shared environment for your agency or company. Everything you see in the sidebar (Dashboard, Inbox, Campaigns, Activities, Candidates, and so on) belongs to the team you're currently working in. Team members see the same campaigns and candidates.

Your first team is created during onboarding in the Create Your Team step — you enter Your Team Name and NoRecruit sets up the workspace for you.

Switching between teams

If you belong to more than one team:

  1. Click your profile card at the bottom of the left sidebar (it shows the NoRecruit logo state and your name).

  2. A menu opens listing your teams. The team you're currently in is marked with a checkmark.

  3. Click another team to switch — you'll land on that team's Dashboard.

💡 Tip: A small dot next to a team name in the switcher means that team has unread inbox messages waiting for you.

You may also see a Your Team Accounts page ("Select a team to continue") right after signing in when no team is selected yet — simply click the team you want to open.

Joining additional teams

You join other teams by invitation: a team owner sends an invite to your email address, and you accept it to get access (see the article on inviting team members). Once accepted, the team appears in your team switcher automatically.

Creating a new team

Regular users create their (first) team during onboarding. Creating additional team workspaces is not self-service — if you need an extra workspace, for example for a second brand or client environment, reach out to NoRecruit support and we'll set it up for you.

FAQ

Do my colleagues see my LinkedIn conversations? Your LinkedIn connection is personal, but campaign activity and replies land in the shared team Inbox so your team can collaborate. Connection privacy options are available in Settings → Personal Settings → Integrations.

Can I rename my team? Yes — team owners can change the Team Name under Settings → Team Settings.

What happens if I'm removed from a team? You lose access to that workspace, and it disappears from your team switcher. Your personal account and any other teams are unaffected.
