Your LinkedIn connection powers everything in NoRecruit: importing candidates, sending connection requests, messages, and InMails. Connecting takes a few minutes and only needs to be done once per user.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Personal Settings and open the Integrations tab. On the LinkedIn card, click Connect LinkedIn.
Step 1 — Confirm the safety acknowledgements
The Connect with confidence dialog first asks you to confirm three things:
Account safety — you'll use the same browser where you're logged into LinkedIn, keep a stable IP (no VPN country switching), and won't run competing automation tools (Expandi, HeyReach, Waalaxy, Dux-Soup, Phantombuster, etc.).
Usage requirements — a LinkedIn Recruiter or Sales Navigator Contract ID is needed to import candidates, and while automation runs you'll limit manual LinkedIn use to safe activities (replying to messages, browsing your feed).
Liability — you use the integration at your own risk.
Tick each box, then type CONFIRM in the field that appears.
💡 Tip: If you use a VPN at your workplace, configure your VPN credentials under Settings → Personal Settings → Security before connecting LinkedIn.
Step 2 — Choose your connection type
You'll be asked: How would you like to connect your LinkedIn account?
LinkedIn Recruiter License — for Recruiter and Recruiter Lite users. This works through the NoRecruit Chrome extension: click Install Chrome extension, add it to the same browser you use for LinkedIn Recruiter, keep it active, and visit LinkedIn Recruiter — NoRecruit detects your account automatically.
Standard LinkedIn Account or Sales Navigator — connect with email/password or a cookie login. Tick Connect my active Sales Navigator if you have an active Sales Navigator subscription; NoRecruit detects the contract automatically.
Step 3 — Log in (Standard / Sales Navigator)
Two tabs are available:
Password — enter your LinkedIn Email and LinkedIn Password, optionally Select Country, and click Connect with Password.
Cookie — paste your Access Token (li_at) cookie value (the dialog shows exactly how to find it via your browser's DevTools), optionally add the li_a value and your User Agent, then click Connect LinkedIn.
Your login goes straight to LinkedIn, staying fully encrypted and protected.
Step 4 — Complete LinkedIn's verification (if asked)
LinkedIn may ask for extra verification, all handled inside the dialog:
Two-factor code — enter the code from your authenticator app or SMS and click Submit Code.
App approval — approve the login request in your LinkedIn mobile app; the window closes automatically once approved (use Check Status if needed).
Captcha or phone verification — follow the on-screen instructions.
Connection status and reconnecting
When everything is healthy, the LinkedIn card shows Connected as followed by your name, and the dialog shows a green Connected badge.
If the connection drops (for example after a LinkedIn password change), the card shows a warning and a Reconnect LinkedIn button — click it and log in again.
A separate warning appears if LinkedIn itself disconnects your Sales Navigator or Recruiter subscription; reconnect those inside LinkedIn.
To remove the connection entirely, click the trash icon on the card and confirm Yes, Remove Connection. Note: message history from the disconnected period will not be synchronized if you reconnect later.
FAQ
Which connection type should I pick? Use LinkedIn Recruiter License if you source candidates in Recruiter or Recruiter Lite. Otherwise pick Standard LinkedIn Account or Sales Navigator.
Is my password stored by NoRecruit? Your login goes directly to LinkedIn through an encrypted authentication flow.
Can teammates use my LinkedIn connection? No — every user connects their own LinkedIn account under their own Personal Settings.
