Generating and editing a standardized CV

Generate an AI-standardized CV for a candidate, fine-tune it in the editor, and download it as a PDF.

Once you have at least one CV template, you can generate a standardized CV for any candidate in a few clicks. The AI converts the candidate's data into your template's format, and you can polish the result before downloading it as a PDF.

Where to find it

Go to RelationsCV studio and click the Generate CV button at the top of the page.

Generating a CV

  1. Click Generate CV. The Generate a standardized CV dialog opens.

  2. Under Candidate, search for and select the candidate.

  3. Under Template, pick the CV template to use.

  4. Under Data source, choose what the AI should work from:

    • LinkedIn profile — the candidate's LinkedIn data.

    • Uploaded CV — the CV file stored on the candidate's profile.

    • LinkedIn + uploaded CV — both combined. The CV options are grayed out with a no CV uploaded note if the candidate has no CV on file.

  5. Under Output language, choose Dutch or English.

  6. Click Generate CV. Generation takes a moment; when it finishes you're taken straight to the generated CV.

💡 Tip: Generating a CV uses 25 AI credits. Credits are refunded if generation fails.

Reviewing and editing the result

The generated CV opens in an editable, PDF-like view. Everything you see is click-to-edit:

  1. Click any text — name, headline, summary, job titles, bullets — and type to change it.

  2. Drag the handles to reorder sections, work experiences, or bullet points.

  3. Use Add bullet, Add experience, Add education, Add skill, and the matching remove buttons to add or delete entries. You can also add or remove whole sections.

Your edits autosave — the status indicator above the CV switches between Unsaved changes, Saving…, and All changes saved, so you never need to press a save button.

Downloading and sharing

At the top of the generated CV you'll find:

  • Download PDF — exports the CV as an A4 PDF, exactly as shown.

  • Copy as text — copies the CV content as plain text to your clipboard, handy for pasting into an email or ATS.

  • Regenerate — runs the AI conversion again from the original source data.

💡 Tip: Regenerate creates a fresh CV from the source data and discards your manual edits — you'll be asked to confirm first. Do your manual polishing after you're happy with the generated base.

Managing generated CVs

Back on the Generated CVs tab you can:

  1. Use Search by candidate name... to find a CV.

  2. Check the Status column — Ready means the CV generated successfully, Failed means generation didn't complete.

  3. Click View to open a CV, or Delete to remove it.

FAQ

What happens if generation fails? The CV is listed with the Failed status and the page shows a Generation failed notice. Your 25 AI credits are refunded automatically. Try again with a different data source or template.

Can I use a generated CV elsewhere in NoRecruit? Yes — when creating a candidate introduction, you can choose Generated CV (CV studio) as the CV to show on the introduction page.
