Personal Settings is where you manage everything that belongs to you as a user: your profile, language and timezone, security, channel connections, working hours, and messaging style. These settings follow you across every team you work in.
Where to find it
In your team workspace sidebar, under Settings, click Personal Settings.
At the top of the page you'll find seven tabs: General, Security, LinkedIn Settings, Integrations, NoRecruit's Working Hours, My Messaging Style, and Calendar integration.
Updating your profile
On the General tab, the Profile Information card holds your basics:
Under Your Profile Picture, click the image area and choose a photo to upload.
Update Your Name — this is displayed on your profile and used across the platform.
Your Email Address is shown here too (change it from the Security tab).
Click Update Profile to save.
Language, timezone, and spoken languages
Below your profile, the Timezone and Language card controls how the platform behaves for you:
Language — choose the interface language (Dutch or English).
Timezone — pick your timezone from the list. Dates and times across the platform are displayed in this timezone, and it anchors your working hours schedule.
Spoken Languages — select the languages you can communicate in (English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish, Italian, or Portuguese). This helps NoRecruit respond to candidates in their preferred language when possible.
Save your changes.
💡 Tip: Set your timezone before configuring NoRecruit's Working Hours — your outreach schedule is interpreted in this timezone.
Changing your password and email
Open the Security tab:
Update your Password — enter your Current Password, a New Password, and Repeat New Password, then click Update Password.
Update your Email — enter Your New Email and Repeat Email, then click Update Email Address. We send a confirmation link to your inbox; the change only takes effect after you click it.
Setting up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Also on the Security tab, the Multi-Factor Authentication card lets you secure your account with an authenticator app:
Click Setup a new Factor.
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (for example Google Authenticator or 1Password).
Give the factor a memorable name (for example "iPhone 14") so you can recognize it later.
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your app and click Submit Verification Code.
Once enabled, you'll sign in with your password plus a code from your app. You can unenroll a factor at any time from the same card.
💡 Tip: Your email must be verified before you can enable MFA. If you see a prompt to verify, check your inbox first.
VPN credentials
If your workplace uses a dedicated VPN, add it under VPN Credentials on the Security tab (Host, Username, Port, Password) before connecting your LinkedIn account. A stable IP address keeps your LinkedIn connection safe.
Linked accounts
The Linked Accounts card lets you connect additional sign-in methods (such as other authentication providers) to the same NoRecruit account, so you can log in whichever way is convenient.
FAQ
Can I delete my account? If account deletion is enabled for your workspace, a Danger Zone card appears at the bottom of the Security tab with a Delete your Account option. This removes your account and any accounts you own, and cancels active subscriptions — it cannot be undone. If you don't see this option, contact support.
Where do I connect LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Email, or Slack? On the Integrations tab — see the Integrations article in this collection.
Where do I connect my Cal.com calendar? On the Calendar integration tab — see the Calendar integration (Cal.com) article in this collection.
What's on the LinkedIn Settings tab? Safety guidance and automation limits for your connected LinkedIn account: the LinkedIn Safety Guide, your LinkedIn Warmup status (new accounts start with restricted limits that ramp up over three weeks), Recommended Limits, an explanation of How Activities Are Scheduled, and sliders to adjust your daily and weekly connection, message, and InMail limits — capped by your LinkedIn account type.
