Calendar integration (Cal.com)

Connect your Cal.com account so the Conversational Agent and AI replies can propose real availability and book meetings automatically.

Connecting your Cal.com account lets NoRecruit schedule for you: the Conversational Agent can book meetings with candidates directly in your calendar, and the AI Reply button in the Inbox can include your real available timeslots in a draft.

Where to find it

Go to Settings → Personal Settings and open the Calendar integration tab.

Connecting Cal.com

On the Connect Cal.com card:

  1. API Key (required) — your Cal.com API key. Find it in Cal.com → Settings → Developer → API Keys.

  2. Booking URL (optional) — your public booking page URL. The agent includes it in messages as a self-serve fallback link, so candidates can also pick a time themselves.

  3. Event Type ID (optional) — the numeric ID of the event type to use when fetching available slots. You'll find it in the event type's URL in Cal.com.

  4. Default Meeting Duration (minutes) (optional) — the default length for booked meetings.

  5. Click Connect Cal.com.

Once connected, the card switches to Cal.com connected with a Connected status, and shows the key details you saved.

What it's used for

  • Conversational Agent scheduling — with the Schedule a meeting goal, the agent proposes concrete times from this calendar and books the meeting when the candidate picks one. See "The Conversational Agent" in the Campaigns collection.

  • AI Reply timeslots — in the Inbox, tick Include available timeslots (if your calendar is connected) in the AI Reply dialog to have real openings woven into the draft.

It's personal

The connection is per user, like your LinkedIn or email channel. The agent always uses the calendar of the user whose connection sends the messages — so every teammate who runs campaigns with a scheduling agent connects their own Cal.com under their own Personal Settings.

Disconnecting

Click Disconnect on the connected card. A confirmation warns you: after disconnecting, the Conversational Agent can no longer schedule meetings automatically. Campaigns with a Schedule a meeting agent will fail their publish check until a calendar is connected again.

FAQ

Whose calendar does the agent book into for a team campaign? The calendar of the owner of the sending connection. If a campaign sends from your teammate's LinkedIn account, their Cal.com connection (and calendar) is used.

Is the Booking URL required? No — it's an optional fallback. Without it, the agent simply proposes times and books directly once the candidate picks one.

Do I need an Event Type ID? It's optional but recommended: it tells NoRecruit exactly which event type's availability to offer. Without it, your account's default availability is used.
