Candidates enter a campaign through an import from a LinkedIn Recruiter search. You define the audience in LinkedIn Recruiter, paste the search URL into NoRecruit, and choose how imported candidates should be screened and deduplicated.
Where to find it
Open your campaign, go to the Candidates tab, and click Import Candidates.
Before you start
You need a LinkedIn Recruiter subscription connected to your NoRecruit account. If not, the dialog shows LinkedIn Recruiter Access Required — connect your LinkedIn account with Recruiter access under Settings → Personal Settings → Integrations first.
For the best screening results, configure your Screening Prompt on the Overview tab before the first import.
Setting up the import
Build your candidate search in LinkedIn Recruiter (job titles, locations, skills, etc.) and copy the search URL.
In the Import Candidates dialog, paste it into LinkedIn Search URL under LinkedIn Search Setup. Only LinkedIn Recruiter search URLs are supported.
Optionally add a LinkedIn Recruiter Project URL (Optional) — if you work in a Recruiter Project, fetched candidates are organized there too. When your search URL already contains a project, this field is auto-filled.
Click Validate URL. On success you'll see how many candidates the search found (e.g. "Found 1,432 candidates available to import").
Choosing the import options
Screen candidates after import — automatically evaluate every imported candidate against your screening prompt using AI credits. When enabled you can also toggle:
Preview on 50 candidates — screens only the first 50 candidates after import, so you can test your criteria before spending credits on a full run.
Add qualified candidates to campaign — candidates scoring 60+ are automatically added to your campaign.
Duplicate Handling — decide what happens with profiles that already exist in your other campaigns:
Import all (no exclusion)
Skip if already imported in another campaign
Skip if already imported in a selected campaign (pick specific campaigns)
💡 Tip: The dialog shows your Available AI credits and warns when they run low. Screening uses roughly 1 credit per candidate, and the screening prompt must be at least 250 characters for automatic screening.
Scheduling the import
Under When should NoRecruit import candidates? choose:
Schedule based on system hours — the import runs during your configured import operating hours. This is the safest option.
Run within the next 15 minutes — the import starts almost immediately. You must confirm that you won't use LinkedIn Recruiter on any device for the next 60 minutes while it runs.
Click Start Fetching Candidates. The import fetches your search results (up to 1,000 candidates per run) with random delays to respect LinkedIn's rate limits — this typically takes 30–45 minutes. You can follow progress in the dialog and use Cancel Import if needed. Scheduled imports appear with their planned time and expected completion.
After the import
Imported candidates land in the Candidates tab with status New. If screening was enabled it starts automatically; otherwise you can screen them later with the Screen Candidates button. The screening prompt is locked after the first import so every candidate in the campaign is evaluated against the same criteria.
You can import additional candidates at any time — even after the campaign is running. Newly qualified profiles are added to the sequence via Start Outreach in the Campaign Builder.
Syncing with a LinkedIn Recruiter project pipeline
If you also manage the role in a LinkedIn Recruiter Project, click Sync with LinkedIn on the Candidates tab. Paste your LinkedIn Recruiter Project Pipeline URL, validate it, and click Start Sync. Matching profiles from the pipeline are added to your campaign — no new profiles are imported, only profiles already in this campaign are matched.
Enriching contact details
Some outreach channels (email, WhatsApp) need contact details that LinkedIn doesn't provide. Select candidates and click Enrich Data:
Choose what to find: Email Address and/or Phone Number.
Review the Estimated credits — enrichment uses separate enrichment credits, and credits are only charged for successfully enriched data.
Click Start Enrichment.
Enrichment requires a FullEnrich or Lusha API key configured on the Integrations page.
FAQ
Why can't I edit the screening prompt anymore? It locks after the first import to keep candidate evaluation consistent. All later imports use the same prompt.
Can I import from a normal LinkedIn search? No — candidate imports for recruitment campaigns require a LinkedIn Recruiter search URL.
