Every messaging block in your sequence can either send a fixed template or let the AI Agent write a personalized message per candidate. You can also generate an entire ready-to-review sequence at once with the AI Builder.
Where to find it
Open your campaign → Campaign Builder tab. Click the gear on any messaging block to open Block Settings. The AI Builder button sits in the top-left canvas toolbar.
Template messages
With Use AI Agent switched off, you write the message yourself:
Type your text in the Template Message editor. Use Insert variable to add personalization placeholders — First Name (
{{firstName}}) and Last Name ({{lastName}}).Template Language tabs let you write a version per language (e.g. Nederlands, English, Deutsch). Messages are sent in the candidate's detected language; if no template exists for their language, English is used as fallback.
InMail and email blocks also have a Subject per language.
AI-generated messages
Switch on Use AI Agent and the AI writes a unique message for each candidate based on their profile and your campaign context. Key settings:
Requires Approval — AI-generated messages wait in a manual approval queue before sending (see "Training Center & message approvals"). Recommended when you start out.
Language — Decided by AI (matches the candidate's detected language) or force a specific language.
Message Instructions for AI → Goal of the Message — what this specific message should achieve (e.g. "get a short intro call scheduled"). The goal is shared across all languages. Use Load from template... to reuse goals saved in your Messaging Style.
Example Messages — paste messages you love; the AI mimics their tone and structure. Use Load from Training Center to pull in your saved examples.
Landing page — optionally select a published landing page; the AI includes its personalized link in the message.
Tone of voice, salutations, sign-offs, and rules come from the campaign's Training Center tab (inherited from the owner's Messaging Style), so the whole sequence sounds consistent.
The AI Builder — generate a whole sequence
Instead of assembling blocks by hand, click AI Builder (or Start with AI Builder on an empty canvas):
Which channels do you want to use? — LinkedIn, Email, WhatsApp (any combination). With multiple channels, the builder includes a fallback branch for people who don't accept the connection request.
How many steps should the sequence have? — each step is one touchpoint, spaced a few days apart.
Who are you reaching out to? — Cold outreach (not connected yet) starts with a connection request or a direct email/WhatsApp touch; Existing connections (1st degree) starts with a direct message. The sequence is generated for the selected path only.
Which languages should the messages use? — pick one or more (e.g. nl / en / de). With a single language, every step is forced to it; with several, content is generated in each language and the AI picks the right one per recipient.
Reference examples (optional) — pick saved examples or paste your own Connection request examples and Follow-up message examples (separate multiples with a
---line). The AI derives the tone, structure, and style of the generated flow from these.Write message content with AI — fills each step with a message goal and example messages based on your campaign details.
Click Generate sequence.
The generated flow appears on the canvas for review — nothing is saved until you press Save. If the canvas already has blocks, you'll be asked to confirm Replace and generate.
Follow-ups
Follow-ups are simply additional messaging blocks connected on the 🔴 No Response (or 🟡 Accepted, No Reply) paths, with a delay on the connector (e.g. "3 days"). Duplicate an existing block to keep its settings, tweak the goal ("gentle reminder"), and chain it. If the candidate replies, the remaining follow-ups are cancelled automatically.
Test before you launch: Simulate
Click Simulate in the builder's top bar to preview real output without contacting anyone:
Pick up to 3 saved profiles (or let NoRecruit pick randomly).
Optionally write a fake candidate reply for the accepted path — the AI generates a response to it.
Review the generated messages per profile and per branch (Accepted + Replied, Accepted, No Reply, Not Accepted), plus the exact tone-of-voice and rules settings used.
Simulations use AI credits (shown up front as "X messaging blocks × 3 profiles") and are saved so you can compare runs.
FAQ
Can I mix AI and template blocks in one sequence? Yes — for example, a template connection note followed by AI-personalized follow-ups.
What happens if the AI can't detect the candidate's language? It falls back to English (or to the language you forced on the block).
Do example messages get sent to candidates? No — they only steer the AI's writing style.
